SOTHEAVUTH MEY, known as a Clinical Massage Specialist & Therapeutic Spa Consultant, is widely recognized by local and international tourism practitioners.

Vuth has been working in spa industry for more than 30 years, beginning his career since 1987 with UNHR as a Nursing and Physical Therapy Assistant in Medical Care Center by Handicap International and Medicine Sans Frontier (HI & MSF) in KAO I DANG Refugee Camp. In 1997, Vuth was offered an opportunity in the first wave hospitality service of Raffles Hotels & Resorts after UNHR repatriation. Beginning his career ladder from an Assistant Spa Manager role, Vuth served Raffles Hotel Le Royal and Raffles Grand Hotel D’Angkor under the corporate leadership of Amrita Spa & Wellness in Singapore until he departed the group in 2014 as a Spa Manager.

Having the unique Therapeutic massage skills, Vuth had auspicious occasions to travel across different countries such as Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Austria etc. to offer his restorative service to many distinguished guests. In addition, his journey fortunately moved him around Southeast Asia and India, Tibet, Nepal including Himalayas mountain range, where he handed down himself to learn postures of traditional healing cultures with a more emphasis on energetic touch – energy flow and to transform the meditation to be remedial medicine to balance lives. Born as an avid learner, Vuth got exposed to work with many different specialists and kept excelling his skill in physiotherapy, myofascial relief therapy, muscle energy therapy, sport expert massage, neuromuscular therapy and so on.

Helping people to alleviate the pain was his key aspiration to his daily life. “Particularly, I have practiced clinical massage for more than 21 years now, and I believe I have recognized the Human Nature Natural Health,” said Vuth. “I recognize the importance of posture in pain modulation and continually frustrated with difficulty to achieving long term changes with my clients” he added. Vuth has graciously turned his voyage to the motherland of Siem Reap province, where he collaborated with the Memoria Spa to introduce a Brand-New Spa Treatment & Wellness concept, roll out his discovery in human body strain, and make people learn how to live longer and healthier.

Vuth has a peaceful mind and before he says farewell from this golden land, he claims that he has nothing happier than making people around him feel truly contented so that they enjoy their life as much as they can. Vuth mentioned that his acrimonious veteran experiences would surely help everyone to remedial healing against the pollution in human immune system & body’s problem and live in well-being.
